Tottori AJET
From TottoriWiki
What is AJET, anyway?
AJET stands for "Association of JETs" or "Assembly of JETs" or "Alternative Juice ExtraTerrestrialism." Actually we don't know what it stands for, but we DO know what it is. Sort of.
AJET is like the personal party planner and social conveners of the ken. We organize activities that get loads of JETs together in one place and facilitate support and communication in the JET community. In the past, these events have included beach parties, log cabin weekends, ski trips, theme parties, group trips to festivals, Christmas parties, and the Sayonara party.
What do I have to do?
Nothing! Just come to any event. JETs and their friends, both Japanese and foreign, are welcome to attend any AJET event.
How much does it cost?
In the past, AJET has charged a one-time membership fee and a yearly renewal fee, and AJET members received discounts on many events. However, this year, we feel it's best to charge on a "per-event" basis. We will let you know the cost of each event per person when we send out the information on that event. Each participant will pay upon arrival.
How will I know about AJET events?
AJET will post each event on the Tottori Exchange and the TottoriSweat website, so check your messages from the AJET crew regularly!
Let's have a great year! Caroline, Alex, Virginie, and Katherine
